Tickets for the fourth edition of the LEVEL UP gaming festival at Messezentrum Salzburg will be available from February 15.
For the fourth time, the Salzburg Gaming Festival LEVEL UP opens its doors to all gaming enthusiasts and invites you to immerse yourself in virtual worlds and digital adventures at Messezentrum Salzburg on June 29 and 30, 2024. Tickets are available from February 15 in the ticket store.
The LEVEL UP Festival in Salzburg celebrates the fascination of gaming with established and new program highlights. On the LEVEL UP Mainstage, eSports will be presented from its best side. You can marvel at top-class tournaments in Rocket League, a type of car soccer, Counter-Strike 2, a tactical shooter, and League of Legends, a game from the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre, among others. Smaller tournaments will be held on the new Community Stage, in which all visitors of the festival can take part.
In addition, the creative side of gaming culture will be celebrated with a dedicated area for cosplay, where fans will bring their favorite characters to life with great dedication. At the back of the area, tabletop and card game fans will once again get their money's worth.
The following popular program highlights from previous years will be back: The Artist Alley with over 50 artists and vendors from all over Europe invites visitors to buy merchandise as well as drawings and handmade items from the world of anime and gaming. With 50 PC stations, the Free2Play Area offers numerous opportunities to try out the most popular games and play a round with friends. In the retro area, consoles and games from the last few decades will provide fun for young and old alike, and in the indie games area, new games from independent developers can be tried out. An update on further exhibitors and program highlights will follow shortly.
As already established, LEVEL UP is once again particularly family-friendly this year and offers entertainment for all ages. Children's eyes light up when they see their favorite characters from the games live in front of them, the older ones play on their favorite systems, while moms and dads enjoy the nostalgia in the Retro Area or try out the latest hardware. All entertainment at the festival is free, including participation in the fun tournaments, all games, the virtual reality arena and the retro arcade machines. Prices for 2-day tickets are 29 euros for adults and 23 euros for young people up to the age of 16. Admission to the gaming paradise is free for our youngest visitors under the age of 12.
