Your journey to LEVEL UP

By public transport

Bus & train
Salzburg Main Station is an important transportation hub in the west of Austria and a fully integrated station of the Deutsche Bahn network. Cabs, public transport and rental cars are available at the main station.

Public transport network
The Messezentrum Salzburg is excellently connected to the public transport network.

  • Trolleybus line 1: stops directly at the exhibition center (station: Messe).
  • Trolleybus line 7: stops right next to the exhibition center (station: Bessarabierstraße)
  • Trolleybus line 8: stops directly at the exhibition center and is the fastest way from the center to the P+R Messe.

With the route planner of the Salzburger Verkehrsbund (Link: http://fahrplan.salzburg-verkehr.at/bin/query.exe/dn?ld=std3.a&L=vs_svv&) you will find the fastest connection by public transport.

By bike or on foot

From the old town you can reach LEVEL UP and the exhibition center Salzburg in about 30 minutes on foot, from the main train station Salzburg in 20 minutes and via the very well developed bike paths. Bicycle racks are available on the premises.

By car

LEVEL UP and the Messezentrum Salzburg are located directly on the A1 freeway. You can reach us via the "Messe" exit. Traffic signs in the city and on the highway will show you the way.

Attention: Vignette requirement in Austria
Vignettes are compulsory on all freeways and expressways in Austria! There are annual vignettes as well as vignettes for ten days or 2 months to buy.

Arrival without vignette via freeway A8 (Germany)
Drivers coming from Germany are allowed - without buying the vignette beforehand - to comfortably drive through on the highway directly to us from the border crossing Walserberg to the Messezentrum Salzburg.

By plane

Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart is located about 4 km from the Messezentrum Salzburg. Named after the world-famous composer, the airport was opened in 1926 and is now the second largest airport in Austria.

At the airport there are cabs available (call +43 (0) 662 8111) as well as public transport (trolleybus line 2 in the direction of "Obergnigl": change to trolleybus line 8 at the stop "Esshaverstraße").
