LEVEL UP - The Gaming Festival is entering its fourth round in 2024. Here you can find all the already known information.
The fourth edition of the Salzburg Gaming Festival LEVEL UP will take place on June 29 and 30, 2024 at Messezentrum Salzburg. Strictly limited Early Bird tickets are available from Wednesday, November 22. These cost 16 euros normal price or 14 euros for teenagers under the age of 16. Children under the age of 12 attend the festival free of charge.
After over 9,000 visitors celebrated the development towards a more community-oriented program with many opportunities to get involved in 2023, the organizers are consistently taking a step further in this direction. For the first time in 2024, there will be a dedicated Community Stage where the program will be designed by the gaming scene itself. Here, visitors can expect tournaments to play in, challenges against professionals and streamers and exciting panel talks. The focus is clearly on taking part rather than watching.
Numerous organizations and exhibitors will be represented around the Community Stage, where you can get a taste of virtual worlds or embark on epic adventures with friends. Trying out the latest hardware together or solving tricky quests in the LEVEL UP Challenge will turn strangers into friends and bring the community closer together for another year.
Despite all the innovations, a lot of the established highlights will remain. On the Mainstage, eSports tournaments will be presented at the highest level. The Retro Area invites you to take a nostalgic trip back to the early years of video games and artists from various fields will present themselves in the popular Artist Alley. The Tabletop Area will also be back. There, tacticians and strategists will be able to engage in hours-long battles in distant galaxies or dark ages.
