LEVEL UP - The Gaming Festival 2025 is in the starting blocks and will provide a weekend full of gaming, entertainment and community experiences on June 28 and 29 at Messezentrum Salzburg. This year, the festival will feature an expanded stage concept: Three independent stages - the eSports Stage, the Raiffeisen Club Community Stage and the Cosplay Stage will offer a varied live program for gaming fans of all ages.
eSports Stage: Four tournaments, two days, one goal - victory
All or nothing - the eSports Stage decides who has what it takes to be champion. Live finals, new tournament formats and qualifiers make this stage a crowd-puller.
As one of the highlights on the eSports Stage, the final of the DACH CS Masters brings the best Counter-Strike 2 teams from German-speaking countries to the stage in a thrilling showdown. Austria's best school teams will also be competing for prize money of 2,500 euros at the ESSL Valorant Championship, powered by MCI - The Entrepreneurial School.
With LEVEL UP: BREAKOUT the Smash community returns - those who qualify on site can prove themselves on stage in the thrilling Super Smash Bros. Ultimate final.
New: The Red Bull For The Win Qualifier with Fortnite! Casual gamers battle their way through qualifying rounds to the showdown in Vienna against eSports pros.
Raiffeisen Club Community Stage: For everyone who wants to be in the middle of it all
You're not just a spectator here - at the Raiffeisen Club Community Stage, you're in the spotlight yourself! Local multiplayer tournaments, beat the pros, nerd quizzes, Minecraft with influencer Veni or Mario Kart action: participation is expressly encouraged.
At LudeCat visitors compete against each other in local multiplayer games - the special feature: The games remain secret until the end and put everyone on an equal footing. MAD Gaming: Smash The Pro brings YouTuber Luigikid on stage - who can beat him in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate despite his handicap?
In the FORUM 1 Kartmaggedon the big Mario Kart final awaits - the qualification for this will take place on June 14 in FORUM 1! Further highlights: Virtual Dojo – Fighting Grounds, the Amazing Nerdquiz: Gaming Edition and a very special Minecraft challenge WITH & AGAINST Veni.
Cosplay Stage: The world of costumes on the big stage
LEVEL UP celebrates cosplay - on its own stage full of show, creativity and community spirit. Whether it's a contest, panel or quiz, there's room for everyone to bring their favorite characters to life.
In the Cosplay Performance Contest it's all about show, expression and creativity. The Selfmade Cosplay Contest puts handmade costumes in the spotlight. If you want to test your knowledge, the Amazing Nerdquiz: Anime Edition is just the thing for you. A special highlight: the panel "How to Start Cosplay" which shows beginners the first steps into the world of cosplay.
With the new stage concept, LEVEL UP is creating spaces for all gaming communities - from eSports pros to cosplayers, from retro fans to quiz masters. The aim is for every visitor to be able to find themselves on the stages - actively, live and together with the community.
