Welcome to the Indie Games Area presented by FH Salzburg!
Want to become part of the Indie Games Area yourself? Then choose the right Indie Package and apply to showcase your game at LEVEL UP or register as a streamer.
For developers
All applications will be reviewed by a jury. Submissions will be ranked according to the date of submission and the chosen package. The final selection will be announced on Monday, April 27th. Games rated 18+ are not eligible.
Humbled Indies
- What you get:
If you are part of the lineup, you will receive a free booth and we also offer you: 1 table, 1 PC, 1 monitor, 1 mouse, 1 keyboard, 1 A1 poster, up to 2 tickets and access to the networking event on Saturday, May 23rd from 6 pm! - What you don't get:
We canʼt provide any other hardware, e.g. Gamepads, Consoles, or mobile devices. There is also no extra space for rollups, etc.
Independent Indies
You go through the same application process as in the Indie Package but you bring your own PC.
- What you get:
If you are part of the lineup, you will receive a free booth and we also offer you: 1 table, 1 monitor, 1 A1 poster, up to 2 tickets and access to the networking event on Saturday, May 23rd from 6 pm! - What you don't get:
We canʼt provide any other hardware, e.g. Gamepads, Consoles, or mobile devices. There is also no extra space for rollups, etc.
Important! Your setup must be clearly communicated to us. Please contact us regarding the details.
Contains all the above and helps us immensely to bring the Indie Games Area to life!
Also, youʼll skip the application process completely and instantly secure your booth. And thereʼs more still:
- Flyers: Increase your visibility by placing a flyer in the goodie bags and on-site. 500 flyers must be delivered to the Salzburg Exhibition Centre by May 19th.
- More space (rollups): Stand out from the crowd by bringing your own items (rollup on the floor, max. 150 x 200cm)
- Networking Event: Ensure exposure at our meetup by displaying e.g. a showreel, company profile, or open positions! It must be a video (at least 1080p, h264) and should not exceed 2 minutes in length per company.
- Social Media: Get exclusive Social Media coverage on the channels of LEVEL UP Salzburg and FH Salzburg.
What exactly do we need from you?
Fill out the application form until April 13th + add a current build. Wait for a response until April 20th.
Send us your final build by April 27th.

We are looking for YOU for our Indie Games Area!
Become part of the ultimate gaming festival, LEVEL UP, on May 23rd and 24th at the Salzburg Exhibition Center. We invite you to be at the heart of the Austrian gaming scene. It's not just a festival; LEVEL UP is an experience that unites the gaming community in the real world. A place where gaming enthusiasts come together to play, marvel, and share unforgettable moments with friends.
What makes the LEVEL UP – Indie Games Area special?
- Community hub: Connect with like-minded individuals, share your passion, and expand your network in the gaming and eSports scene.
